A Brief History of Harriston-Based Heritage Builders Ltd.
Heritage Builders Ltd. has been in business for 24 years. The company was started in April 1991, by a Howick Township native, Mark Harding, and 3 partners from the Mildmay area. The first day of work on-site was April 1, 1991, although the planning and preparation for that day had been going on for many years prior to that. In the early years, the business was operated out of the partners' homes, and eventually established a base of operations in Mildmay, Ontario where it remained for the first 10 years.
In 1996, Mark and France Harding became the sole owners of Heritage Builders Ltd., and they have continued to rely on the patronage of clients for managing their agricultural, residential and commercial building needs. In 2000, a new office / shop was built in Harriston, Ontario, which gave the business more room to expand and grow. Today, the company employs 7 to 10 employees. Please see the Careers page to find out how to apply for positions available within the company.
